    Robin Brant is the BBC's China Correspondent, based in Shanghai. He has a 25 year career in journalism reporting original content from around the world, and has previously held roles at the BBC as a Political Correspondent and as the Malaysia Correspondent. His core focus is objective analysis and explanation of complex global issues to a mainstream audience.

    Chair at British Chamber of Commerce in China

    Julian studied Chinese and Management in the UK, and East Asian Studies at Harvard and first came to China in 1994. Julian joined the UK Civil Service in 2007 and returned to Beijing in 2012. Julian was Commercial Counsellor for Energy at the British Embassy, focusing on infrastructure, offshore wind and civil-nuclear.

    Julian is also the Country Director of Rolls-Royce.

In these capacities he has consulted with multinational and Chinese corporations across various industries on risk and strategy issues, particularly in relation to geopolitical and regulatory risks.

    Dr Dan Wang is the chief economist at Hang Seng Bank China, based in Shanghai. Dan holds a PhD in economics from the University of Washington, with a focus in macroeconomics, environmental economics and econometrics. Her postdoc was with the Chinese Academy of Sciences in agriculture. She's regularly quoted in international media and write columns for several media, including FT China, Caixin and Pengpai (the Paper). Before joining Hang Seng Bank, Dan was previously the lead China analyst at the Economist Intelligence Unit.

    王丹博士现任恒生银行(中国)首席经济学家。王丹曾为中国科学院博士后,研究方向为农业,负责几个农业部和国务院委托的大型调研项目,包括对畜牧业、农产品价格和国家饮水工程的项目评估,并与世界银行和联合国就包容性增长和粮食安全问题进行合作。王丹在美国华盛顿大学获得经济学博士学位,专业方向为宏观、环境和计量经济学。她是多家国际媒体的特约评论员并为FT中文网、财新和澎湃等媒体撰写专栏。此前,她在经济学人智库(EIU)担任中国首席分析师。
