Registration for this month's Talks at the Bell has now closed. No walk-in tickets will be available on the night. We look forward to seeing you in the new year!
Join us for our November edition of Talks at the Bell, the British Chamber's new monthly series of insightful panel discussions and events hosted at the British Embassy Beijing's on-site pub. This members-only event is an opportunity to hear more about sector insights, network with members of the Chamber and Embassy staff, and enjoy a drink at one of Beijing's oldest pubs!
This month, join us for a discussion on China's role as a manufacturing powerhouse. With FDI into China slipping into the negative, and mixed sentiment over onshoring and offshoring amongst international business in China, what does 2024 hold for the manufacturing industry in China? We'll be assembling a panel of experts from across the manufacturing sector to discuss how businesses have responded to China's efforts this year to promote foreign investment, as well as topics such as R&D investment, IP protection, China+1 strategies, and more. This off-the-record discussion is an excellent chance to hear from fellow Chamber members on their business sentiment – in a topic that has implications for companies across industries.
Talks at the Bell is intended to be an informative evening of talks and debates, introducing different sectors each month to a non-specialist audience. Members from all industries and member companies are warmly invited to participate.
