Bonnah
Founder of Halo Hummus
Born in London, Nicole Bonnah is a Beijing based Journalist and mum blogger who has been living and working in China since 2013. She is the founder of Halo Hummus: Innocent Dipping. A collection of fusion hummuses, made to order, using fresh and natural ingredients. Naturally low in fat and delicious, added to each hand-prepared order is a Halo of robust and flavoursome toppings!
Halo Hummus was born out of a personal love and need for hummus while living in Beijing. Nicole went searching high and low for her favourite Middle Eastern dip, but couldn’t quite find what she was looking for. She decided to make her own and add a slight twist to the traditional take on the humble chickpea staple. In 2017 Halo was born.
Nicole started a hummus revolution in Beijing and has been featured in Time Out, Beijingkids and The Beijinger. Last year she successfully launched her collection of jalapeno, red pepper, jerk chicken, and classic hummuses on Beijing’s top online delivery servers.
Halo Hummus is not just about hummus (well mostly!) but also about inspiring healthy living and healthy snacking. Nicole is now looking for investment to expand production while on maternity leave but hopes to be back serving her Beijing community once more helping them to get their Halo’s on and start dipping!

Co-Founder of NAKED拿颗酱
Meredith, along with her best British bud, co-founded of NAKED拿颗酱 in 2016. She has lived in Beijing for almost 8 years, first spending several years in the online education field and then moving into the F&B industry. All of this experience combined has given Meredith an aptitude for Marketing and Sales, and has proven integral in helping her build her own business. Though growing her company keeps her very busy, she still makes time for other activities she loves, such as cooking, exercising, reading, and Instagram.
