Join us for our second annual Corporate Wellbeing Day, on Wednesday 24th April!


Building off of the success of our 2023 Corporate Wellbeing Day, we'll be hosting a variety of interactive workshops, panel discussions, and classes on how to make your workplace a 'well-place.' This year's focus on developing a holistic view of workplace wellbeing will introduce participants to different facets of wellbeing – whether that be physical, mental, emotional or financial.


Expect plenty of hands-on activities that will leave you with real skills to bring back to the office to promote healthy workplace practices, as well as opportunities to sit down with a leading wellbeing provider in a specialised industry.

    Anna graduated from Dartington College of Arts with a degree in Music and Arts Management. As a graduate she came to China with VSO and taught English to university students. After returning to England she taught ESOL at the local adult community college. During this time she gained an adult teaching qualification. Due to her teaching experience, Anna was accepted onto the Essex Graduate Teacher Training Programme and was awarded her QTS. She gained her Primary Teaching experience working in a large primary school in Essex.

    Following this, she and her family made the professional decision to move into the international school’s arena. For two years she taught a year 6 class in an international school in North East China. This experience provided her with a positive insight into the cultural and intellectual traditions of China and in 2016, she joined BSB Shunyi in the vibrant and exciting Chinese capital.

    Anna is from Leigh-On-Sea in Essex which is a lively sea-side town. She has travelled in Europe and in Asia and has plans to travel and experience as much of China as she can. At university she studied music and is a keen flutist. She enjoys reading and going to concerts. She has two boys and they are starting to get the hang of speaking Chinese. As a family, they enjoy hiking, cycling and going to museums.

    Adam Robarts is the co-founder/ director of Robarts Spaces (www.robartsspaces.com), with over 100 staff and offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen. After receiving a distinction in Architecture at Cambridge University, and his RIBA membership in 1989, Adam worked and taught in Manchester before arriving in China in 1993, where he lived and worked prior to temporarily moving to the UK in 2016. He now divides his time between the UK and China.

    In 1995 Adam received China’s state level ‘Friendship Award’ - the highest honour that China gives to foreign experts, whilst teaching at Qinghua University. In 1997, Adam and his wife, Karyn, opened their architecture and design studio in Beijing and, ten years later, Adam was inducted as an honorary member of the Interior Design Magazine Hall of Fame, awarded to outstanding designers for their significant contribution to architecture and interior design. The Robarts Spaces’ portfolio includes over 1,000 completed projects in China - for workplaces, education and healthcare.

    Adam and Karyn have four children who were born and raised in China. In May 2020, their son, Haydn, succumbed to brain cancer, and the family’s deeply inspiring story is the subject of Adam’s first book, “NINETEEN- 19 Insights Learned from a 19-Year-Old with Cancer.”
