Rebecca Ivey has 15 years of experience working on public-private collaboration and corporate social responsibility, with strong competencies in high-level event organisation, programme development, expert and stakeholder engagement, and impact assessment. From 2010 she has worked at the World Economic Forum in Geneva and then Beijing, holding a number of positions. Prior to this, she worked at the Global Humanitarian Forum in Geneva, and with EY and APCO in Beijing. She holds a degree in East Asian Studies and a MSc in Behavioural Science.

Daisy has been with KPMG since 2000, and has over twenty years experience in mergers and acquisitions, assisting multinational companies and Chinese clients in investment activities around the globe. With over 20 years M&A experience including over 10 years focused on energy deals, Daisy has advised on deals with a total announced transaction value of over USD30 billion, covering over 20 countries.
Daisy is a champion of KPMG China’s decarbonisation initiative, providing strategy and consulting advice to clients about decarbonisation related strategy and investment opportunities. She also specialises in the Energy and Natural Resources (ENR) sector, ranging from oil and gas, mining and renewable energy. Daisy’s ENR clients include: CNOOC, CNPC, Sinopec, SinoChem, CGN, Yanchang Petroleum, Shell, Morgan Stanley PE, HOPU Fund, Silkroad Fund, AIIB, Goldwind Technology, SDIC Power, China Three Gorges Group, China Energy Group, and more.

Zhu Rui is Professor of Marketing and Director of Social Innovation and Business for Good Center at Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (CKGSB). Prior to joining CKGSB, she was associate professor of marketing, and Canada Research Chair in consumer behavior at the University of British Columbia. She received her PhD in Marketing from University of Minnesota.
Professor Zhu has done extensive research on consumer behavior, creativity, and advertising. In 2015, Professor Zhu won the CKGSB Research Excellence Award. In 2010, Professor Zhu won the Sauder Research Excellence Award. In 2007, Professor Zhu won the Marketing Science Institute’s Young Scholar award, which identified 20 scholars around the world who are leaders of the next generation of marketing academics. She is AMA-Sheth Foundation Doctoral Consortium Fellow in 2002. Professor Zhu’s research has been published in leading journals such as Science, the Journal of Consumer Research, and the Journal of Marketing Research, and has been featured in media outlets such as the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, The Independent, CBC and Financial Times. She currently is an Associate Editor at the Journal of Marketing Research and serves on the editorial board at the Journal of Consumer Research and the Journal of Consumer Psychology.
Professor Zhu has extensive experience in teaching and consulting. She has taught Marketing Management and Consumer Behavior at the PhD, EMBA, MBA, EE and Undergraduate levels.

Tom Duke was appointed Minister Counsellor for the Department for International Trade in March 2019 and Deputy HM Trade Commissioner to China in 2020. As a member of the senior leadership team of DIT China and Hong Kong, Tom is responsible for trade and investment promotion, trade policy and market access across a range of industry sectors.


Tom has 15 years of experience working in China and East Asia, in both the public and private sectors. Immediately prior to joining DIT, Tom was the UK’s intellectual property attaché to China. From 2009-11 Tom was Director at the EU Chamber of Commerce in Seoul, South Korea.


Tom speaks Mandarin Chinese and Korean. He has an MSc in Financial Economics, specialising in the impact of Chinese exchange rate policy on the Balance of Payments. In his spare time, Tom enjoys running along the canals and mountain paths around Beijing, and spending time with his family.

Based in Singapore, Wilson is the Corporate Relations Director for Asia Pacific leading the organisation’s public affairs, governments relations, sustainability and society, and communications activities for the region. Wilson leads a dedicated team of corporate affairs professionals to support Diageo’s markets and its outstanding collection of brands grow sustainably across Asia by navigating the external landscape, enriching the communities within which we operate, and building relationships with our wide range of stakeholders.

Prior to this role, Wilson has had a number of roles within Diageo in both Asia and the UK including most recently as the Global Director of Government Affairs for three years, based in London, covering global government relations, international trade and regulatory policy issues.

Wilson has also been an Associate Director in KPMG Australia’s government relations practice providing public policy and government relations advisory services to multinational and domestic clients over a range of industries including beverage alcohol, carbonated beverages, heavy industries manufacturing, vocational education and direct sales/marketing.
