Ladies and Gentlemen... We are excited to announce that the British Ball 2021 will take place on Saturday, 23 October, at the amazing NEW VENUE - Shangri-La China World Summit Wing, with the theme "A NIGHT AT THE WEST-END"!

This is the oldest and we think BEST ball in Beijing and is always a highlight for the community... and this year in our new home we are going to go bigger, better and grander than ever! A Night at the West-End

For the non-British out there, "A Night at the West-End" is not a movie, but a night out in London's Theatre District, which hosts a total of 39 theatres opened since 1663 with Theatre Royal, Drury Lane being the oldest theatre of them all. Such a theme means that there are plenty of theatrical shows to choose from to inspire you on your costumes for the night to win the best-dressed award!

From Mamma Mia, Billy Elliot, Lion King, to Camelot, Wicked, We Will Rock You and the Phantom of the Opera... there are plenty of theatrical shows to choose from to inspire you on your costumes for the night to win the best-dressed award!

Throughout the night, there will be live entertainment, memorable musical acts and singalongs, a delicious mouth-watering dinner prepared by China World Summit Wing's executive chef, and live music to keep everyone dancing all night long until the early morning. And for those that make it, the British Ball Survivors Breakfast will take place at the Grill 79 at the very top of the China World Summit Wing on the 79th floor for a phenomenal view of Beijing.
