Mr. Yang graduated from the Foreign Language Department of Sichuan Normal University and obtained a degree of Bachelor of Arts in 1988. In 1990, he graduated from the Law School of Renmin University of China and obtained a degree of Bachelor of Laws.
Mr. Yang served the Ministry of Supervision of the PRC from 1990 to 1995. Since 1996, Mr. Yang worked with China Patent Agent (H. K.), Ltd. as an attorney and deputy director of the Legal Affairs Department. He joined Panawell in January 2007.
Mr. Yang has broad and significant experiences in intellectual property rights law consultation, intellectual property rights licensing and assignment, IP Customs protection, anti-unfair competition, anti-counterfeiting and anti-piracy, computer and copyright registration, domain name registration and disputes resolution, intellectual property rights administrative litigation and infringement litigation. In addition, Mr. Yang has handled a wide range of patent, trademark and copyright administrative investigation and punishment and litigation for scores of international corporations. Mr. Yang is a frequent speaker at both local and international IP seminars.
Mr. Yang received training on patent litigation in law firms of the U.S.A. He is a member of the LES China, FICPI China and Copyright Society of China.
Mr. Yang's working languages include Chinese and English.
