Marcus Ryder is the Head of External Consultancies at the Sir Lenny Henry Centre for Media Diversity which was set up to explore and increase diversity across the industry including journalism, acting, film, TV and radio in both front-of-house and behind the scenes roles. The Centre has worked with all the UK major Public Service Broadcasters including the BBC, ITV and Channel 4.

He has been at the forefront of the campaign to increase diversity in the media industry for the last ten years. Giving oral evidence to both the House of Commons and House of Lords select committees on media diversity. In 2021 he co-authored the book “Access All Areas - The diversity manifesto for TV and beyond” with Sir Lenny Henry.

Tingting Yang joined Diageo China in 2019 as the Corporate Relations Director. She manages the company’s corporate relations agenda in one of the fastest growing markets for Diageo’s business globally, with a strong focus on strengthening Diageo’s corporate brand and enhancing our reputation among key stakeholders. Her areas of work cover corporate communications, government relations and Diageo as a responsible corporate citizen.
Prior to Diageo Tingting held senior positions at the China-Britain Business Council and the British Consulate in Shanghai. She brought to Diageo her extensive knowledge and experience in leading high-impact campaigns and cross-sector activities that strengthen government and business relations. Highlights of her previous work include the British government’s biggest national campaign, the GREAT Festival of Creativity and the recent two UK Prime Ministers’ visits to China.
