AustCham Beijing
The China-Australia Chamber of Commerce in Beijing (AustCham Beijing) was established in 1996 and has as its goal the advancement of the broader Australia-China business relationship through the effective representation of its 250 members. We achieve this through building connections between our members and broader stakeholders in Australia and China, delivery of effective advocacy programs and provision of information and insights through our business events and online platform.

Core to our ability to deliver on our mission are our member-led industry forums. All of our events have a strong industry focus. We release White Papers and industry specific position papers throughout the year, an important medium for communicating member priorities. The Chamber regularly engages with government and other key stakeholders on issues of concern to members, and actively contributes to the public debate.
Importantly, AustCham Beijing runs unique programs for students of Australian universities and recent graduates which provide opportunities for work experience, mentoring and cultural training. Our members believe in the importance of investing in our future business leaders, and this is a Chamber priority.
AustCham Beijing works closely with its sister Chambers in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Bohai, Chengdu and Hong Kong, under the AustCham Greater China banner.
Beijing Scottish Society
The general aim of the Beijing Scottish Society is to promote Scottish culture and traditions in China. Scottish Societies exist all over the world and we, here in Beijing, are a group of people who enjoy Scottish music, dancing and having fun. There are a few kilt-wearing Scots amongst us, but it is truly an international gathering.

So come join the Beijing Scottish Society to celebrate all things Scottish! Whether it's whisky, haggis, bagpipes or ceilidh dancing, we've got something for you! Each year we organize two major events - the St. Andrew's Charity Ball (this year on 30 November) and Burns Night in January. We also have whisky tastings, family ceilidhs and much much more.
Our events provide unparalleled exposure for all things Scotland, including Scottish culture, Scottish brands, Scottish travel and Scottish food and drink. Our events also have a particular focus on reaching out to the Chinese community in order to expand the exposure to and image of Scotland for the Chinse community. We are able to foster of opportunities for graduates of Scottish universities and individuals who have lived and worked in Scotland to reminisce on the wonderful time spent in Scotland.
